WHATSAPP -HOW DOES IT WORKS

WhatsApp is a messaging app that lets users text, chat, and share media, including voice messages and video, with individuals or groups. How does WhatsApp work? WhatsApp relies on data to send messages, like iMessage or BBM, so it doesn't cut into your monthly text allotment.

WhatsApp is a free app for iPhones, Android smartphones, Windows Phone and Mac laptops and Windows PC. It allows you to send messages, pictures, videos and even voice recordings, as well as make voice and video calls over the internet for free, rather than using your mobile network which costs you money.

It  uses your phone's cellular connection or Wi-Fi network to send and receive messages and calls to your family and friends. As long as you haven't exceeded your mobile data allowance or you're connected to a free Wi-Fi network, your mobile provider shouldn't charge you for messaging or calling over WhatsApp.
An app that lets you send messages to someone over the internet. This differs from standard SMS messaging, which sends texts over the mobile network.

WhatsApp is a way of life. With stickers, statuses, groups, and easy-to-use messages, it's more than just a texting service. Unlike most messaging apps, WhatsApp mimics SMS texting services instead of trying to build a new interface.

It  requires your phone number to start the service and this contact number can be seen by anyone added in our contact list. Unfortunately, there is no way to hide your phone number on WhatsApp. The app requires your valid phone number to let you login into the service.
This  App has quickly emerged as the go-to messaging app for over 1.6 billion consumers around the globe. It's a fast, simple, and convenient way for family and friends to chat, create group texts, share photos and videos, send and receive documents, and engage in private, secure conversations anytime, day or night.

It  is end-to-end encrypted—it popularized this level of security and it has become one of its hallmarks. By contrast, its Facebook stablemate Messenger is not end-to-end encrypted by default.

WhatsApp, the popular messaging and voice-over-IP service owned by Facebook, helps people send text messages, voice calls, recorded voice messages, video calls, images, documents, and user locations. More than one billion people worldwide use it to stay in touch.

Hackers can access your WhatsApp data by various means like via WhatsApp web or registering your number on another device. WhatsApp cannot work on two phones at the same time but hackers if register your number on another device, can easily get hold of all your chats including the personal ones.
