WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOUR COMPUTER IS HACKRD

If your computer has been compromised and infected with a virus or other malware you need to take action to keep your files from being destroyed and also to prevent your computer from being used to attack other computers. Here are the basic steps you need to perform to get back to normal after you've been hacked. Isolate Your Computer In order to cut the connection that the hacker is using to "pull the strings" on your computer, you need to isolate it so it can't communicate on a network. Isolation will prevent it from being used to attack other computers as well as preventing the hacker from continuing to be able to obtain files and other information. Pull the network cable out of your PC and turn off the Wi-Fi connection. If you have a laptop, there is often a switch to turn the Wi-Fi off. Don't rely on doing this through software, as the hacker's malware may tell you something is turned off when it is really still connected.

GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM GPS

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a technical marvel made possible by a group of satellites in Earth's orbit that transmit precise signals, allowing GPS receivers to calculate and display accurate location, speed and time information to the user. By capturing the signals from three or more satellites (among a constellation of 31 satellites available), GPS receivers are able to triangulate data and pinpoint your location. With the addition of computing power and data stored in memory such as road maps, points of interest, topographic information and much more, GPS receivers are able to convert location, speed and time information into a useful display format. GPS was originally created by the United States Department of Defense (DOD) as a military application. The system has been active since the early 1980s but began to become useful to civilians in the late 1990s. Consumer GPS has since become a multi-billion dollar industry with a wide

WHAT IS HACKING

Hacking is any technical effort to manipulate the normal behavior of network connections and connected systems. A hacker is any person engaged in hacking. The term hacking historically referred to constructive, clever technical work that was not necessarily related to computer systems. Today, however, hacking and hackers are most commonly associated with malicious programming attacks on networks and computers over the internet. Origins of Hacking M.I.T. engineers in the 1950s and 1960s first popularized the term and concept of hacking. Starting at the model train club and later in the mainframe computer rooms, the hacks perpetrated by these hackers were intended to be harmless technical experiments and fun learning activities. Later, outside of M.I.T., others began applying the term to less honorable pursuits. Before the internet became popular, for example, several hackers in the U.S. experimented with methods to illegally modify telepho

SANTA -CLAUSE STORY

St. Nicholas was a Bishop who lived in the fourth century in a place called Myra in Asia Minor (now called Turkey). He was a very rich man because his parents died when he was young and left him a lot of money. He was also a very kind man and had a reputation for helping the poor and giving secret gifts to people who needed it. There are several legends  The most famous story about St. Nicholas tells how the custom of hanging up stockings to put presents in first started! It goes like this:  There was a poor man who had three daughters. The man was so poor that he did not have enough money for a dowry, so his daughters couldn't get married. (A dowry is a sum of money paid to the bridegroom by the brides parents on the wedding day. This still happens in some countries, even today.) One night, Nicholas secretly dropped a bag of gold down the chimney and into the house (This meant that the oldest daughter was then able to be married.). The bag fell into a stocking t

FRUITS TO AVOID IF YOU HAVE DIABETES

If you have diabetes, chance are someone has said that you are not allowed to eat fruit. This is not true; people with diabetes can eat fruit and fruit can be included in a healthy eating plan. But, because fruit is a carbohydrate, fruit will affect your blood sugar and you cannot eat unlimited amounts. And certain fruits may cause your blood sugars to spike at a quicker pace than others. The tricky part about eating with diabetes is that everyone responds to food differently. While one person maybe able to eat apples without any issue, someone else may find that apples cause their blood sugars to spike. Testing your blood sugars before and after eating fruit can help you to determine which fruits are best for you Other ways to keep blood sugars controlled while enjoying fruit is to think about the context in which you eat it. You'll have a better chance at keeping your blood sugars controlled if you avoid juice altogether, limit your fruit servings to no more than 2-3 per day (

HOW TO COPE UP WITH LONELINESS

everyone experiences loneliness from time to time, with many people becoming especially aware of feelings of loneliness around the holiday season,  and during times of extreme stress. While the sheer number of people who experience loneliness is quite large. people don’t always talk about feelings of loneliness and don’t always know what to do with these feelings. Other than being emotionally painful, loneliness can affect people in many ways: Physical Health: Several studies have linked emotional stress with depressed immunity. Other research links loneliness and depression with poorer health and well being. That means that people who are experiencing loneliness are susceptible to a variety of health issues.   Depression: One study found that lonely people showed more depressive symptoms and that lonely and depressed people alike tended to experience less "togetherness" in social interactions.   Physical Pain: Research shows that the
