Netflix is a subscription-based streaming service that allows our members to watch TV shows and movies without commercials on an internet-connected device. You can also download TV shows and movies to your iOS, Android, or Windows 10 device and watch without an internet connection.

 To use Netflix, you must first< /b> sign up. This can be done through the various devices platforms on offer (web, Android, iOS, Fire TV, Chromecast), or you can go online and do it from the Netflix website. As this is a monthly service, you will need to enter in your card details.

 Netflix on Thursday raised the prices of its standard and premium plans to $13.99 and $17.99 per month, respectively.

 Netflix is a subscription service. You pay the same no matter how much you watch, so watching more in a month means wringing more value out of your subscription. On the other hand, if you don't watch much at all, then Netflix may not be worth the price tag.

Depending on the kind of Netflix plan you have, you can stream video on one device (Basic), two devices (Standard), or four devices (Premium) at a time. You can also set up as many as five profiles, so everyone who shares an account can have their own personalized recommendations and viewing history. And if you're on a budget but you love Star Wars or Marvel, you're going to have to make a difficult decision between Disney+ and Netflix.

In terms of picture quality, both services offer content in a range of definitions – but Prime video wins out when it comes to streaming in 4K.  This is where Amazon triumphs over Netflix; it offers more 4K content, and it doesn't charge any extra for the privilege.


Free trials are not available, but you can still sign up and take advantage of all Netflix has to offer. There are no contracts, no cancellation fees, and no commitments. You have the freedom to change your plan or cancel online at any time if you decide Netflix isn't for you.
