WORLD FAMOUS WRITERS- J.K ROWLING

J.K. Rowling is the British author who created the popular and critically acclaimed Harry Potter series (seven books published between 1997 and 2007), about a lonely orphan who discovers that he is actually a wizard and enrolls in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Rowling
She  is  best known for her seven-book Harry Potter children's book series. The series has sold more than 500 million copies and was adapted into a blockbuster film franchise.

Her first Harry Potter manuscript was rejected by 12 publishers before Bloomsbury picked it up. But, her publisher did suggest she not use her real name — Joanne Rowling

for her books, because they didn't believe boys would want to read a fantasy book about a boy wizard that was written by a woman.

Struggle

Rowling ceased working on the book and sank into a deep, grieving depression, getting little to nothing accomplished in that time. ... Not only did she fail to make progress on her first book, but after falling in, and then out of, love, she ended up with a failed marriage and a baby daughter she now had to raise alone.

The first manuscript of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was produced by Rowling while sitting in small cafes around Edinburgh.

J.K Rowling took six years to write Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the first book in the Harry Potter series. It was published on 26 June, 1997 and the bestselling fantasy novel series is marking its 20th anniversary in 2017

Main  work by  Rowling   : The Casual Vacancy, Harry Potter .

Harry Potter is popular because people can relate to it. Though it takes place in a fantasy setting, the problems that Harry deals with are all too human.

One of the main reasons that the series has become so loved is it's attention to detail and the costumes, clothing choices and descriptions of the characters.

The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... ... So, not only did Harry free Britain from tyrannical rule by Voldemort, the universe claimed that Harry was the key to defeating Voldemort. Thus, he was a Very Important Wizard™, regardless of what skills he had or didn't have.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is about the journey Albus takes while growing up, and the roles he and his best friend, Scorpius (Draco Malfoy's son), play when dark forces, perhaps in league with Voldemort, once again threaten the fate of the planet.
The story begins nineteen years after the events of the 2007 novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and follows Harry Potter, now Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic, and his younger son, Albus Severus Potter, who is about to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Harry Potter was in his final year of school in The Deathly Hallows, and was about to turn 18 when the book ends after his victorious defeat during the Battle of Hogwarts.
