SOON , YOU CAN HEARD YOUR PET DOG'S THOUGHTS. Yes , that's true. Swedish researchers are developing the world's first headset that can translate your pet dog's thought into English words. The small gadget named ' No More Woof' that reads animal brain - waves could pet -to - human communication to the next level.
The device uses the latest technology in micro computing and Electroencephalography(EEG) to analyze animals thought patterns and spell them out in human language using a loudspeaker.
The system is developed by the Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery.(NSID).
It has search lab in Mal mo, Sweden, the device can successfully read when the canines are tired, excited or hungry.
The patterns found are "I'm Tired" , "I'm excited" and possibly " I'm hungry" and the clearly intense brain activity when dog sees a new face, that translate into " who ARE you?"
"No More Woof" straps an electroencephalograph (EEG) reader to your canine buddy's- noggin and a tiny Raspberry pi computer translate the electric activity in the little brain into English, with Mandarin,French, and Spanish coming soon.
The technology used is the result of combining the latest technologies in three different tech areas -EEG-Sensing,micro -computing, and special brain -computer interface software.
At present it is only a prototype and it will be developed further soon. The cost of the device is $60.
Another remarkable thing is that the experiment was very animal friendly. There was no torturing of animals while conducting the experiment. It was totally animal friendly.
During the last few years many discoveries have been made to map out the human brain's function. But never before has any one made a serious attempt to apply this technology on man's best friend 'THE DOG'
