THE       UNITED   NATIONS    (UN)    Recognizes   193   countries.They all   have  international   land  borders ,and  an  independent   government .Every   country   have  their   own  flag ,  official   emblem,  and   one  national  anthem.The   sizes   of   countries  differ   ,while  some   are  very  big,like  China,   Russia,Canada,America(USA),and  India.Others   are  small  like,  Afghanistan,   Pakistan, Bangladesh   and  countries  of  Europe .
The   smallest   country  in  the  world  is  Vatican  City  ,in  Italy.It    is  no  bigger   than  a  city  block  ,and  has   a  tiny  population  ,  about  1,000.
Population  wise  China   is   in  number  one  with  a  population   1.3  billion  people  ,after  it  comes  India   ,with  a   population   graph   of   1.1  billion  people.

  • There   are   12  countries   in  South  America.
  • There  are   23  countries   in   North  America.
  • There  are   47   countries   in  Europe.
  • There  are  53   countries   in    Africa.

NATIONAL   ANTHEMS   OF   COUNTRIES.-
  • Greece   has  the  longest  national   anthem-it  has  153  verses.But  they   don't  sang  them  all.
  • Japan   has  the  oldest  national   anthem  -words  are  poem  they   written   in  the  9th  century.
  • Spain's  national  anthem   'La  Marc ha'   doesn't  have  any  words.  at  all.
  • Uruguay  's   national  anthem    takes  five  minutes  to   play.
  • The   tune   of  the   US  anthem  The    star  spangled   banner    was    originally a  popular drinking       song.

 
  • The    National   anthem    of   India     has    three    stanzas.It    was   written    by   Noble   laureate   Rabindra Nath Tagore.

  • USA-Land  area      9,161,923 sq km(3,537,438 sq miles.
  • China-With a   land  area    of      about  9,596,960 sq km(3,705,406 sq  miles).
  • Brazil -  Land    area  ,  8,511,965 sq km(3,285,618 sq  miles.

  • DRIVING  LEFT'   OR ' RIGHT'
  • The   rule   of   driving   on  the   road    are   differ  in   different   countries.About    62  per cent  of  countries    drives  on  the  right  side  of  the  road.And   38  per cent   of  the  countries  drives   on  the  left  of  the  road.
  • The    UK  ,Ireland ,Cyprus  and  Malta  are  the  only  European   countries   to  drive  on  the   left
  • Most  of    the  countries   that  drive on the left    are  in  Africa, Asia, Australia,  and  Oceania .
  • At  one  time the USA  and  Canada   drove  on  the  left.
