MOTION PICTURES.

    

MOTION  PICTURE   INVOLVES   many   people,but  the  most  important one  is  the  director  of  the  film.He  is  responsible  for  converting  the  screenplay  into   images   and  instructing  the  actors  to  perform  the  way  he  wants
ants.Before    shooting  the  film  ,the  director  practices  each  scene   several  times  with  the  actors.When   he  is   satisfied   does  he  say  'action'  and  the  film  recording  start.
EDITING   OF  THE  FILM.-The  scenes   of  a  film   are  not  shot  in  the  sequence  to  which   they  appear  in  the    film.All  the  scenes  of  a particular   location  are shot  at  one  go,sometimes   in  several  takes.Shooting  is  done  according    to  the  time  actors  have .In  the  end  the  recording  are  sorted .  The  best  one are  selected  and  everything is  put  together   again.The  whole   job  is  done  by  the  film editor.They   did  this  earlier   with  knife  and  scissors  ,  but  today  it is  done  direct  on  a  computer.
DUBBING   OF   THE   FILM.
Foreign   languages   films  are  translated   into  the  local   language of  the  country  where  they  are  shown . The  local  language  speaker  sits in  the studio and  the film  is shown  to   them.The  speaker   must  speak  their  text  in  such  a  way  that  it  matches  the   lips  movements   of  the  actor  as  far  as  possible.Text  and  mouth  movement  must  be  'synchronized'.
Dubbing is  expensive ,and  sometimes  original   films  are  are shown  with  subtitles .That  means  that  a  short  translation  of  the  spoken  text  is  shown  in  the  lower  part  of  the  screen .
