ANIMAL -KINGDOM-ARACHNIDS.

THE  CLASS   ARACHNID A     INCLUDE  SPIDERS (ORDER ARANEAE) and   Scorpions (order  scorpion-es). The  class   is   a   part  of  the  phylum  Arthropod a ,  which   also  includes  insects and  crustaceans.Spider  and  scorpions   are  characterized    by   having  four   pairs  of   pincers  like   mouth parts  called  chelicerae;another  pair  of  frontal   appendages  called   pedipalps  ,  which  are  sensory  in  Spiders   but  used  for  grasping   in  Scorpions ;and  a  body divided  into  two  sections ( a  combined   head  and  thorax   called  a  cephalothorax  or  prosoma ,   and  a  abdomen    or  opisthosoma)unlike  other  arthropods ,  spider  and  scorpions   lack   antennae  .Spider  and  Scorpions  are   carnivorous .Spiders  poison  prey   by  biting  with  a  fanged   chelicerae,  Scorpions   by  stinging    with  the  end  of   the  metastases (tail).
Spiders  must  shed   their    exoskeleton  (external  skeleton)  to  grow .During   moulting ,  the  exoskeleton  splits  and  the spider  pulls  it self out ,  leaving   behind   the old   exoskeleton
ARACHNIDS.
