THE  WORD  'DEMOCRACY'   is  derived   from    the  Greek language  and  it  means'  rule  of  the  people'. In  a  democracy   all  citizens  are  free   and  have  equal   rights and     duties .The  fundamental   idea   of  this  form  of  the  government    comes  from  e }); ancient  Greece .At   that   time ,leaders   directly  addressed  the  crowd  and  the  decisions  about  the  laws  were   made  in  the  assemblies..In   today's  republics ,  the  procedure  is  more  elaborate and  structured.Elections  are   held  every  four  to  five  years,  in  which  the  citizens  of  the  country   elect  their   representatives ,  who  sit  in   the  parliament  and  pass  laws. The  people's  representatives   elected   every  four  to  five  years. MOUNTAINS THE HIGHEST SPOT ON THE EARTH

MOUNTAINS    are  formed  when   the  plates  of  Earth's  crust    crash  into  each other,  and  the  land  pushed  upwards .Mountains are   also  formed when volcanoes  erupt and  molten  rocks   build  up  into  steep  mounds. Bacteria   are   the   most   plentiful   living  organism   on  the  Earth.They   are  the  most  smallest    organism ,each  consisting   of  a   simple ,  single  cell.A   few   types  of  bacteria ,called  germs ,cause  diseases    in  humans .But   most  bacteria     are   harmless,  some  are   very  useful.They   used  in  making  drugs   and  foods.
